We measure our cleaners’ work satisfaction and strive to improve it constantly. We get thousands of cleaner applications a year. After interviews, hands-on lessons and a rigorous skill test, only 5 % of applicants qualify as Freskans – our standards are high and we take home cleaning very seriously to maintain the top-notch cleaning quality and customer experience we are known and loved for.

The Freska Community
Freska is a bouquet of different nationalities and cultures, and many have moved from friends and family to come here. We want everyone to feel at home, which is why we arrange social gatherings, now digitally, so one can get to know another and build a network in Norway.
For many of our cleaners, Freska is their first job here and we are glad we can contribute towards a better inclusion in society. We offer free Norwegian language courses in partnership with Folkeuniversitetet, starting from both beginner and advanced levels.

Sustainability has always been important to Freska, and we are proud to say that we are Eco-lighthouse certified. This means that we have documented that we work systematically and purposefully to reduce our environmental impact. Eco-Lighthouse and the Eco-Lighthouse certification are a recognized Norwegian environmental certification scheme, on a par with international environmental certification schemes.
